Vincent Cano, O.D.
Vincent Cano, O.D.

Co-owner/Optometrist

Dr. Cano is known for his thorough, patient-centered approach and dedication to helping patients achieve not just better vision, but better overall visual performance and an improved quality of life. A graduate of the University of California, Irvine, Dr. Cano earned his Doctor of Optometry from Western University College of Optometry. He then went on to complete a competitive residency at SUNY College of Optometry in New York City, with a focus on vision therapy and rehabilitation.

At Project Eyecare Optometry, Dr. Cano leads our vision therapy and sports vision services, helping both children and adults improve their eye coordination, tracking, and processing to excel both on and off the sports field. His passion for personalized care ensures that every patient receives a custom plan designed for long-term results.

Connie Tsai, O.D.
Connie Tsai, O.D.

Co-owner/Optometrist

Dr. Tsai is passionate about helping her patients of all ages maintain healthy eyes and clear vision. After completing her undergraduate studies in Psychology and Social Behavior at the University of California, Irvine, she went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry from Western University College of Optometry.

At Project Eyecare Optometry, Dr. Tsai leads our myopia control programs, offering specialized treatments including orthokeratology (Ortho-K), atropine therapy, and customized multifocal contact lenses. Her approach to myopia management goes beyond mere symptom correction as she focuses on slowing the progression of myopia for clearer vision in the long run. Her calm, caring nature makes her especially popular among pediatric patients and families seeking a long-term partner in eye health.

“I have been in the eye care field for the past 5 years. I became interested in vision care after dealing with various eye issues growing up. From having a high prescription to experiencing retinal tears and a detachment, I definitely do not take vision for granted!”

Working in an optometry office is incredibly rewarding. I love connecting with patients through friendly conversations and ensuring they feel comfortable and supported during their eye exams. One of the most fulfilling parts of my role is using creativity to help patients find frames that not only suit their vision needs but also express their personal style.

I love working in an optometry office because it brings me joy to help people see better than they did before. Having grown up wearing glasses and contact lenses, I understand what it's like to experience a blurry world. That personal experience has given me a deep appreciation for the gift of clear vision. Being part of someone's journey to improve their eyesight and helping them see the world more clearly is incredibly rewarding and one of the reasons I enjoy working in optometry.

As a former preschool teacher, I was looking for a new opportunity where I could continue making a difference in people's lives. I was excited by the opportunity to work in an optometry office, where I could still work with children while also helping patients of all ages. I'm looking forward to learning more about Vision Therapy and being part of a team that helps children develop stronger visual skills and improve their quality of life.
